Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled TM1 Developer with 2–4 years of experience in IBM Planning Analytics (TM1). The ideal candidate should have hands-on expertise in TM1 model development, optimization, and support, along with strong business acumen to work closely with business partners for planning, forecasting, and reporting needs.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain TM1 models, cubes, dimensions, and rules.
- Implement and optimize TI (TurboIntegrator) processes for data integration and automation.
- Create and manage TM1 security (element, cube, and group-based security).
- Develop reports and dashboards using PAX / PAW / TM1Web.
- Troubleshoot issues and provide production support for existing TM1 applications.
- Collaborate with business users to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Ensure best practices in performance tuning, scalability, and data integrity.
- Work with cross-functional teams for end-to-end planning and reporting solutions.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, or related field.
- IBM TM1 / Planning Analytics certification is a plus.
- 2+ years of hands-on experience in IBM Planning Analytics / TM1.
- Strong knowledge of TM1 architecture, cubes, dimensions, feeders, rules, and TI processes.
- Experience in Performance Tuning and TM1 Administration.
- Proficiency in PAX (Excel Add-in), PAW (Workspace), and TM1Web.
- Good SQL skills for data integration and analysis.
- Good understanding of finance and business planning processes (Budgeting, Forecasting).
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Able to work with business partners to gather requirements on new TM1/Planning Analytics model building
- Design, build, test, and deploy new models
- Write and revise documentation for new and existing models
- Collaborate with other Finance teams
- Provide system support and troubleshooting for users including investigating and correcting issues
- Identify process improvement opportunities
- Assist in testing new functionality in new versions of the application
- Handles data manipulation (extract, load, transform), data visualization, and administration of data and systems securely and in accordance with enterprise data governance standards
