Role Summary:
- Data Governance Analyst – Banking & Cybersecurity (7+ Years Experience)
As a key member of the delivery POD, the Data Governance Analyst will drive governance and compliance of cybersecurity metrics data in alignment with BCBS 239 and DUSE/DMOV control frameworks. The role involves validating data sources, managing data integrity attestations, and ensuring traceability and stewardship for in-scope risk metrics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Confirm trusted data sources and ensure compliance with DUSE 2/3 control tasks.
- Lead documentation of Business Data Elements (BDEs), support Data Discovery Template (DDT) completion, and facilitate data dictionary uploads.
- Drive DQ control validation and coordinate data stitching with technical teams.
- Collaborate with ITSO, POs, SMEs, and governance forums to capture metric lineage and data ownership.
- Contribute to EIM (Enterprise Information Model) registration and attestation processes.
- Track adherence to Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and governance milestones.
- Support quarterly reviews, closure packs, and sign-off processes as per governance requirements.
- Expertise in Data Governance frameworks, BCBS 239 compliance, and control frameworks (DUSE, DMOV).
- Strong understanding of risk metrics, data lineage, and stewardship in a regulated environment.
- Experience in business analysis, stakeholder engagement, and metadata management.
- Familiarity with cybersecurity reporting metrics, KRIs, and data structures.
- Tools: Collibra, Confluence, Excel/PowerPoint for reporting, EIM tools.
