Responsibilities
Direct Responsibilities

• Implement Data Governance framework in Collibra – the metadata management tool
• Create and maintain data assets such as data elements, lineage, flows, data quality rules and controls in Collibra
• Work with different stakeholders to gather information related to data assets and implement the information in Collibra
• Understand and implement the change requests received from stakeholders in Collibra
• Able to read and interpret BRDs and technical specs to perform functional testing of data lineage.
• Work and update the metadata Power BI dashboard with Collibra as a data source.
• Create Python scripts to connect to various data sources, data cleaning and reconciliation of data.
• Able to review deliverables of lineage created by IT department. Communicate changes to IT team for lineage and test the releases.
• Able to extract required information from lots of excel files containing huge volume of data.
• Able to summarize critical issues in commentary format along with charts, bar or pie diagrams and able to generate status report for senior and executive management group.
• Create SOP's, perform knowledge transfer and cross training for proper backup in team.
• Effective communication across multiple teams including development team (IT) and other stakeholders.
• Ability to translate business requirements and work with development teams throughout resolution, implementation and delivery.

Contributing Responsibilities

• Create BRDs, functional specifications, flow charts, Root cause analysis and other diagnostic documentations.
• Have a good understanding of the data flows and understand its lifecycle of source to destination.
• Identify risk in process and propose / implement controls

Technical & Behavioral Competencies

• Able to work with large data in excel and suggest process enhancement ideas.
• Knowledge of advanced formulas & pivot tables in excel is must.
• Good working knowledge of tools such as Collibra, Ab-Initio, Informatica Metadata Manager
• SharePoint, MS Word, MS Visio, PowerPoint, Power BI and Python

Specific Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of experience along with Bachelor's Degree - in management, finance, science, economics, related field or equivalent experience.
• Prior experience in similar domain.
