Join our growing Digital Technology Hub as a Platform Engineer, where you will be part of building and maintaining next-generation cloud-native infrastructure for Volvo Cars’ digital ecosystem. You’ll work in an agile, product-oriented environment to design scalable, secure, and automated platform services that power our data and digital solutions globally.

You’ll have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies like Kubernetes, Azure Cloud, and Python, and be a key contributor to Volvo’s digital transformation journey — enabling innovation at scale.

What You'll Do

• Design, build, and maintain scalable Kubernetes-based platform solutions in Azure.
• Develop Python-based automation tools and services to streamline deployments and operations.
• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and observability tools.
• Work closely with DevOps and application teams to ensure reliability, scalability, and security.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of infrastructure as code and platform engineering best practices.
• Support platform governance, cost optimization, and performance monitoring.
  
  

What You'll Bring

• 2–5 years of hands-on experience in Kubernetes, Azure, and Python.
• Solid understanding of DevOps principles, CI/CD, and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC).
• Experience working in large-scale distributed systems.
• Knowledge of Java/ Go/ JavaScript / C/ C++ is a great plus.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills; fluent in English.
• Curious, collaborative, and passionate about automation and cloud technologies.
• Embraces agile ways of working and enjoys working in multicultural teams.
