Data Platform Engineer (Azure)

About the job:

Key responsibilities:

1. Work closely with platform customers to identify emerging needs and collaborate with the Product Owner for platform improvements.

2. Deploy and manage infrastructure resources on Azure, ensuring reliable and scalable operations.

3. Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate build, test, and deployment processes.

4. Set up monitoring and logging solutions to ensure platform availability, performance, and security.

5. Apply security measures and best practices to protect the platform and its data.

6. Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and maintain clear documentation of processes, procedures, and configurations.

7. Identify and resolve issues related to infrastructure, deployments, and overall platform performance.

8. Continuously optimize operations through automation, resource management, and adoption of best practices.

Other Requirements:

- Hands-on experience with Databricks and Azure (over 3 years).

- Practical knowledge of Data Engineering and DevOps tools (GitHub, Azure DevOps, SonarQube, Snyk).

- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) is a plus.

- Good interpersonal and communication skills.

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
