Data Scientist - GenAI

Overview

Purpose of the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Data Scientist to join our Advanced Analytics team. This is a technical role focused on developing statistical and machine learning models to drive insights, innovation, and decision-making.

Domain Knowledge:

• Experience in the manufacturing domain is an added advantage, but not a selection criterion.

Key Responsibilities:

• Programming in Python and R for data exploration, analysis, and visualization.
• Developing and deploying Machine Learning models for predictive analytics, recommendation systems, and advanced problem-solving.
• Working with SQL databases for querying, managing, and processing large datasets.
• Utilizing cloud-based infrastructure for model development and deployment.
• Leveraging Apache Spark for big data analytics and processing.

Qualifications:

• M.Sc. in Statistics or Applied Mathematics from a reputed institute with consistent academic performance.

Desired Skills & Experience:

• Strong knowledge of AI/ML techniques (e.g., supervised/unsupervised learning, deep learning).
• Hands-on experience with CNNs, RNNs, ARIMA, and SARIMA models.
• Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and statistical methodologies.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) preferred.
