About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Data Scientist with at least 8 years of industry experience to join our growing team. You will be responsible for leading data-driven initiatives, building advanced predictive models, and providing strategic insights to solve complex business problems. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive data-centric decision-making and implement innovative AI/ML solutions at scale.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end data science projects from problem definition to model deployment.
• Design and develop machine learning, statistical, and AI models to solve business challenges.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities for leveraging data to drive business solutions.
• Analyze large and complex datasets from structured and unstructured sources.
• Develop and implement scalable data pipelines, feature engineering processes, and model training workflows.
• Communicate findings, insights, and recommendations effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Work with data engineering teams to ensure high-quality, reliable, and accessible data sources.
• Mentor and guide junior data scientists and analysts in the team.
• Stay current with advancements in machine learning, AI, and data science best practices.
• Contribute to the development of data science frameworks, tools, and best practices within the organization.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or master’s degree in computer science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or related field. Ph.D. is a plus.
• 8+ years of hands-on experience in Data Science, Machine Learning, Predictive Analytics, or related fields.
• Proven expertise in developing and deploying machine learning models in real-world environments.
• Strong programming skills in Python or R; experience with libraries like scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, XGBoost, etc.
• Solid understanding of statistical modeling, hypothesis testing, and data mining techniques.
• Proficient with SQL and working with large relational databases; experience with big data technologies like Spark, Hadoop is a plus.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) for data processing and model deployment.
• Hands-on experience with version control systems like Git, and working in collaborative development environments.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to translate business challenges into data solutions.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications (Good to Have):

• Experience in Natural Language Processing (NLP), Computer Vision, or Deep Learning.
• Exposure to MLOps frameworks for model monitoring, deployment, and scalability.
• Experience with BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar for data visualization.
• Domain experience in [e.g., Finance, Healthcare, Retail, Manufacturing] is advantageous.
• Publications, contributions to open-source projects, or participation in data science competitions (e.g., Kaggle) is a plus.

Job Types: Full-time, Contractual / Temporary
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: ₹90,000.00 - ₹100,000.00 per month
