Overview
(Location: India/Remote)
We are seeking an experienced Data Scientist with experience in data analytics, machine learning, and statistical modeling. The ideal candidate will be proficient in data manipulation, data analysis, and have the ability to design, build, and deploy predictive models. You will work with a diverse range of stakeholders to support both operational and strategic objectives across different business domains.
Key Responsibilities
Data Analysis & Modeling
Analyze large and complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights.
Develop, test, and implement advanced machine learning models and statistical analyses, and do scenario modelling.
Create and optimize algorithms for data-driven applications, leveraging predictive analytics to solve business challenges.
Collaboration & Communication
Collaborate with business to define key business problems and develop data-driven solutions.
Present findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, offering clear, actionable recommendations.
Data Engineering Tools
Work with data engineers to ensure efficient data pipeline management and data quality.
Leverage tools such as Python, R, SQL, and big data platforms (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) for data manipulation and model building.
Automate data processes and streamline workflows to increase efficiency.
Continuous Improvement
Regularly evaluate the performance of deployed models and optimize them for better results.
Job Requirements
Experience: 5+ years of relevant experience in data science with a proven track record of solving complex problems using data.
Technical Skills:
Proficient in programming languages, preferably Python.
Strong knowledge of machine learning algorithms, including supervised and unsupervised learning, deep learning, and natural language processing (NLP).
Advanced SQL skills for data manipulation and querying databases.
Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Matplotlib, Seaborn).
Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, Azure) is a plus.
Working experience with LLMs, RAG and Vector DB.
Analytical Abilities: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a drive for optimization and results.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to document processes and collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, or a related field. Professional certifications in Data Science or related areas are a plus.
