As a Data Scientist Associate Senior at JPMorgan Chase within the Asset & Wealth Management, you serve as a seasoned member of an agile team to design and deliver trusted data collection, storage, access, and analytics solutions in a secure, stable, and scalable way. You are responsible for developing, testing, and maintaining critical data pipelines and architectures across multiple technical areas within various business functions in support of the firm’s business objectives.

Job Responsibilities

• Supports the design, deployment, and management of prompt-based models on Large Language Models (LLMs) for various NLP tasks in financial services.
• Advises and assists in researching and applying prompt engineering techniques to enhance model performance, leveraging LLM orchestration and agentic AI libraries.
• Collaborates with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and contribute to the development of solutions that address business needs. Communicate technical concepts and results effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Builds and maintain data pipelines and processing workflows for prompt engineering on LLMs, utilizing cloud services for scalability and efficiency. Contribute to the development and maintenance of tools and frameworks for prompt-based model training, evaluation, and optimization. Analyze and interpret data to assess model performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
  
  

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills

• Formal training or certification on data science concepts and 3+ years applied experience
• Experience with prompt design and implementation, or chatbot applications. Strong programming skills in Python; experience with PyTorch or TensorFlow.
• Experience building data pipelines for structured and unstructured data processing. Experience developing APIs and integrating NLP or LLM models into software applications.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS or Azure) for AI/ML deployment and data processing.
• Solid problem-solving skills and ability to communicate ideas and results clearly to stakeholders and leadership.
• Basic knowledge of deployment processes, including experience with GIT and version control systems.
• Familiarity with LLM orchestration and agentic AI libraries.
• Experience with MLOps tools and practices for integrating machine learning models into production environments.
