Data Scientist (Django & Big data)

Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and analytical Data Scientist who brings strong hands-on experience in Python (Django framework) and a working knowledge of big data technologies. This role requires a problem-solver with a passion for transforming raw data into actionable insights and supporting the backend integration of data-powered solutions.

Responsibilities

• Analyze large, complex datasets to extract meaningful insights and drive business decisions.
• Design, develop, and deploy machine learning models and algorithms for real-world applications.
• Collaborate with backend engineers to integrate models and analytical features into Django-based web platforms.
• Use data visualization tools to communicate findings to stakeholders clearly and effectively.
• Assist in the optimization and scalability of data pipelines using big data tools and techniques.
• Preprocess and clean data to ensure high-quality input for modeling and analysis.
• Monitor model performance and continuously improve based on feedback and new data.

Requirements

• Strong proficiency in Python with experience in the Django web framework.
• Solid understanding of machine learning algorithms, statistical modeling, and data mining techniques.
• Hands-on experience with Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, Matplotlib, and similar libraries.
• Foundational knowledge of big data technologies (Hadoop, Spark, Hive, or similar).
• Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or in a team.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹60,000.00 - ₹85,000.00 per month
