About The Role

We are collaborating with a dynamic technology company delivering innovative digital solutions and IT services globally. Specialising in enterprise-grade applications using AWS Cloud, microservices, and AI, they drive digital transformation through bespoke software, data-driven insights, and client-centric innovation. We are seeking a talented and innovative Senior AI Engineer to lead the development and deployment of enterprise-ready Generative AI solutions. You will play a pivotal role in applying generative AI and automation technologies, including Large Language Models (LLMs), to address real-world business challenges whilst ensuring data privacy, security, compliance, and scalability.

Responsibilities

• Design, fine-tune, and deploy cutting-edge Generative AI models (e.g., LLMs) for use cases such as knowledge management, customer support, personalised insights, and content generation.
• Build LLM-based applications using frameworks such as LangChain, RLHF (Reinforcement Learning from Human Feedback), and RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation).
• Apply prompt engineering and agent-based frameworks to develop adaptive AI systems.
• Integrate Generative AI into existing systems, ensuring scalability, reliability, and maintainability.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify high-impact AI use cases and align the technical roadmap with business objectives.
• Make strategic decisions on developing bespoke AI solutions versus adopting third-party technologies, considering business goals, resources, and market trends.
• Drive innovation by leveraging advanced AI technologies like vector databases and knowledge graphs.
• Optimise and troubleshoot AI systems for performance and scalability.
• Lead architecture reviews and audits to ensure robust system design.
• Manage performance and career development of team members, implementing mentorship programmes and growth opportunities.
  
  

Requirements

Top 5 Must-Have Technical Skills

• 7 years of overall experience in software engineering with hands-on experience with LLMs and Generative AI techniques.
• Expertise in LangChain, LLM tuning, and RAG pipelines.
• Strong knowledge of embeddings, vector databases, prompt design, and agent workflows.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++.
• Experience in MLOps or end-to-end deployment of AI products.

• Background in machine learning pipelines or cross-functional AI delivery teams.
• Familiarity with scalable architectures.
