Introduction to the team:
We are seeking a skilled Data Scientist III passionate about building data products that simplify complexity and enable smarter, faster decisions. You will go beyond dashboards to build strategic analytics solutions, intuitive reporting, and scalable products that steer the business toward high impact actions.
As an individual contributor, you will bring analytical rigor and strategic problem solving to ambiguous challenges—framing the true problem, partnering cross functionally, and delivering solutions that influence decisions at scale. You will own the full data product lifecycle, from ideation and modeling through production, measurement, and iteration.
The ideal candidate thrives at the intersection of business strategy, data science, and product thinking. You excel at navigating ambiguity, distilling complexity, and turning insights into direction. Your work will directly shape decisions that drive performance, customer impact, and long-term growth.
In this role, you will:
Lead on the delivery of actionable insights and models that support strategic initiatives across Air and other lines of business.
Track and Influence key performance indicators (KPIs)
Collaborate with product, finance, marketing, and commercial teams to identify opportunities for growth and innovation.
Translate complex data into clear, compelling narratives for both technical and non-technical audiences.
Develop scalable analytics solutions and dashboards to monitor performance and inform decision-making.
Apply statistical and machine learning techniques to solve real-world business problems.
Stay current on industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve our analytics capabilities.
Experience and qualifications:
Experience 5+ years of experience in data science, analytics, or a related field.
Strong business & technical acumen with a proven track record of influencing outcomes with reporting
Experience working with travel is a plus.
Proficiency in SQL, Databricks, Python
Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker).
Excellent communication, storytelling and presentation skills
A collaborative mindset and a passion for solving complex problem
