Data Scientist – Operations Intelligence

The Role:

• 
  Splunk Engineering:
• 
  Design and implement Splunk dashboards and alerts for real-time monitoring.
• 
  Write and optimize complex SPL queries to extract actionable insights from logs and metrics.
• 
  Data Science & Forecasting:
• 
  Analyze historical operational data to identify trends and anomalies.
• 
  Develop predictive models for time-based forecasting using Python
• 
  Visualize trends and forecasts using libraries like Matplotlib, Seaborn, or Plotly.
• 
  Automation & DevOps:
• 
  Integrate data science workflows with Jenkins for automated execution of scripts.
• 
  Write and maintain Shell scripts for automation and system orchestration.
• 
  Cloud & Infrastructure:
• 
  Work with AWS or PCF to deploy and manage data pipelines and monitoring tools.
• 
  Leverage cloud-native services for data storage, processing, and visualization.

Requirements

Must Have:

• 
  Linux
• 
  Shell Scripting, Python
• 
  ITIL / ITSM
• 
  Application Troubleshooting
• 
  Monitoring tool - Splunk, Dynatrace
• 
  Jenkins - CI/CD
• 
  Experience working with AWS Cloud or Pivotal Cloud Foundry (PCF).

  Payments Flows, Switching, Settlements, Authorisation flows.
• 
  Even Framework architecture
• 
  Ansible/Chef (Basic)
