About The Role

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Database Administrator to join our dynamic team. If you have a passion for database management and a solid foundation in MongoDB, and Cassandra, we want to hear from you!

What you will do

• Assist in the design, implementation, and maintenance of database solutions Cassandra, and MongoDB.
• Monitor database performance and assist in implementing changes and applying new patches and versions.
• Collaborate with development teams to design and optimize database queries and structures.
• Perform basic database tuning, troubleshooting, and optimization.
• Assist in implementing and managing backup and recovery strategies.
• Provide technical support and guidance to other team members as needed.
• Stay updated with the latest database technologies and best practices.
  
  
  

Who You Are And What You Bring

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in database administration.
• At least 2 years of hands-on experience with MongoDB. and Cassandra.
• Basic knowledge of database design, performance tuning, and optimization.
• Experience with database backup and recovery, security, and high availability.
• Proficiency in SQL and scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Certification in database management (e.g., AWS Certified, MongoDB Certified DBA).
• Experience with cloud-based database solutions and services.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools.
