DataStage Expert

Overview

We’re seeking a seasoned DataStage Expert to join our team on a 6-month contract. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in dynamic environments and has a deep understanding of data integration and ETL processes. You’ll play a key role in developing, tuning, and debugging complex DataStage workflows that support large-scale data migration and transformation initiatives.

 Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize ETL workflows using IBM DataStage
• Perform performance tuning and debugging of DataStage jobs
• Lead and support data integration and migration efforts across systems
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data architects, analysts, and business stakeholders
• Ensure data quality, consistency, and reliability across pipelines
• Document processes and provide technical guidance to team members

Requirements

• Proven expertise in IBM DataStage (development, tuning, debugging)
• Strong experience in ETL pipelines, data integration, and large-scale data migration
• Ability to work independently and deliver in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Valid passport (mandatory for potential international travel)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with cloud-based data platforms
• Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and tools
• Prior experience in consulting or contract-based roles
