Deputy Manager – Data Scientist

Job Summary:

• Lead data analytics, technology risk, and compliance projects across BFSI and Telecom sectors.
• Develop BI dashboards, risk assessment models, and data governance frameworks.
• Conduct SOC 2, IT audits, and regulatory compliance reviews.
• Work with SQL, Python, SAS, and enterprise data solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance data privacy and security.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build interactive dashboards using Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik.
• Perform SOC 2, ITGC, IFC Testing, and regulatory risk assessments.
• Develop and assess project management frameworks (Agile, Scrum, Traditional).
• Implement data governance and privacy frameworks (DAMA, GDPR, IDQ, Axon).
• Work with AWS Security, Microsoft Defender, Splunk, Jira, and Bitbucket.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s in Electronics & Communications, Computer Science, or related field.
• Microsoft Certified Data Analyst, PSM I (Scrum Master) preferred.
• Expertise in Python, SQL, SAS, and data governance tools.
• Strong analytical, risk assessment, and problem-solving skills.
• Proven experience in stakeholder communication and cross-functional collaboration.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience in BFSI, Telecom, or Technology sectors.
• Knowledge of AI/ML frameworks (TensorFlow, Keras, PyTorch).
• Exposure to enterprise data governance, compliance, and risk management.
• Hands-on experience with BI tools, data modeling, and automation.
• Strong background in relational databases (IBM DB2, SQL-based solutions).
