How You Will Contribute
Blue Planet, a division of Ciena, delivers cutting-edge intelligent automation software and specialized professional services to modernize IT and network operations. Leveraging policy-driven insights and AI-based analytics, Blue Planet empowers digital transformation through adaptive networks and closed-loop automation tools.
Responsibilities Include
- Configure, automate, maintain, and troubleshoot Kubernetes infrastructure.
- Develop, enhance, and maintain CI/CD tools for software pipeline automation.
- Deploy Blue Planet applications in AWS environments or other cloud platforms.
- Administer, monitor, troubleshoot, and automate application processes.
- Implement and operate high availability (HA), geo-redundant, and zero-downtime upgrade solutions.
- Perform daily operational tasks and provide support to end-users, including product and project developers.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Computer Science.
- Minimum of 3+ years of relevant CloudOps/DevOps experience.
- Proficiency in Linux OS configuration, automation, and troubleshooting.
- Expertise in CI/CD development and maintenance processes.
- Hands-on experience with AWS/Azure/GCP services, Ansible, Terraform, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Strong scripting skills in Shell and Python.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools like TeamCity/GitLab and source control systems such as GitLab/Bitbucket.
- Excellent documentation skills.
- Experience with CI/CD for SaaS applications.
- Knowledge of monitoring frameworks like Prometheus or Nagios.
- Familiarity with OSS and telecom domain expertise.
- Exposure to OpenShift Cloud Platform, networking concepts, and security protocols.
- Collaboration skills with stakeholders and global teams.
- Ability to attend status calls and work closely with product development teams.
