Position Overview
We are seeking a high-caliber DevOps Engineer to join our fast-paced cloud infrastructure team. This role is ideal for engineers passionate about containerized environments, observability, infrastructure automation, and high-performance DevOps delivery. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on expertise in Kubernetes orchestration, scripting in GoLang and Python, and building end-to-end CI/CD pipelines across cloud-native environments.
Key Responsibilities
We are seeking a high-caliber DevOps Engineer to join our fast-paced cloud infrastructure team. This role is ideal for engineers passionate about containerized environments, observability, infrastructure automation, and high-performance DevOps delivery. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on expertise in Kubernetes orchestration, scripting in GoLang and Python, and building end-to-end CI/CD pipelines across cloud-native environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Kubernetes Operations: Architect, maintain, and upgrade production-grade Kubernetes clusters with best-in-class practices using Helm, FluxCD, and GitOps methodologies.
- Infrastructure as Code: Develop and manage scalable infrastructure with Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, and other provisioning tools to ensure repeatable and auditable infrastructure deployments.
- Automation & Tooling: Write production-ready automation scripts and tooling in GoLang and Python for deployment, monitoring, and infrastructure tasks.
- CI/CD Pipelines: Design, implement, and manage CI/CD workflows using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Spinnaker, and AWS CodeDeploy to accelerate release cycles.
- Observability & Monitoring: Implement observability stacks using Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, and Coralogix for proactive monitoring and reduced MTTR.
- Security & Compliance: Create validating/mutating admission controllers using Python to enforce policy-driven security and compliance within Kubernetes clusters.
- Log Management: Optimize and maintain centralized logging platforms (ELK/EFK, Coralogix) for scalable, real-time log analysis and cost efficiency.
- Service Mesh & Routing: Configure and maintain Istio and Traefik for internal routing, service mesh, and API gateway needs.
- 2-5 years of hands-on DevOps experience, with a strong focus on Kubernetes orchestration and infrastructure automation.
- Proficient in GoLang, Python, and Bash for writing robust automation tools and scripts.
- Deep understanding of AWS services (EKS, EC2, ALB/NLB, DynamoDB, S3, IAM) and experience with hybrid cloud environments.
- Strong knowledge of Docker, Helm, FluxCD, and Git-based deployment practices.
- Experience managing CI/CD pipelines with tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and Spinnaker.
- Sound understanding of microservices architecture and distributed systems.
- Solid experience with logging, monitoring, and alerting systems.
- Exposure to secure service integration (e.g., RSA, JWT, PGP encryption, X.509).
- Experience with Apache, Nginx, and Velero for disaster recovery.
- Exposure to Kafka, Redis, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Elasticsearch.
- Knowledge of cost optimization and performance benchmarking in cloud-native applications.
- Prior contributions to internal DevOps platforms or open-source tools.
