Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Performance Engineer with expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Microsoft Azure to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, optimizing, and maintaining cloud environments while ensuring high performance, security, and reliability. This role requires proficiency in CI/CD automation using GitHub Actions, incident management, security vulnerability assessment, and SSL certificate management.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, build, and optimize cloud environments in GCP and Azure for high performance and scalability.
Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions to automate deployments and testing.
Monitor application performance and reliability, implementing improvements as needed.
Lead incident management by identifying, analyzing, and resolving system failures and performance issues.
Assess and mitigate security vulnerabilities, ensuring compliance with industry best practices.
Manage and maintain SSL certificates to ensure secure communication across cloud applications.
Collaborate with development, DevOps, and security teams to implement cloud infrastructure best practices.
Conduct load testing, stress testing, and performance benchmarking to enhance system efficiency.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
3+ years of experience in performance engineering with a strong focus on GCP and Azure Cloud.
Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools, particularly GitHub Actions.
Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure, networking, and security best practices.
Experience in incident management and troubleshooting performance bottlenecks.
Knowledge of security vulnerabilities, risk assessments, and mitigation strategies.
Proficiency in managing SSL certificates and ensuring secure system communications.
Familiarity with performance monitoring tools, logging frameworks, and observability solutions.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Certifications in GCP, Azure, or DevOps-related technologies.
Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell for automation.
