Job Position: Network Administrator / DevOps Engineer

Job Requirements:

• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in network monitoring and Linux systems administration.
• Linux Systems: Strong knowledge of Linux systems administration (CentOS, Ubuntu, or equivalent).
• Monitoring Tools: Experience in managing and configuring Grafana, Prometheus, Promtail, and other monitoring tools.
• Network Monitoring Protocols: Good understanding of SNMP, NetFlow, Syslog, and other network monitoring protocols.
• Problem Solving: Ability to research, design, and troubleshoot solutions in network discovery & monitoring.
• Scripting: Expertise in scripting using Bash and Python for automation.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Cloud Platforms: Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or GCP) and monitoring in cloud environments.
• Containerization: Familiarity with containerized environments (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) and their monitoring.
• Logging Tools: Exposure to logging and telemetry tools such as Fluentd or ELK Stack.
• Networking Hardware: Hands-on experience with routers, switches, firewalls, and their integration into monitoring tools.
• CI/CD Pipelines: Experience with CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions.
• IaC Tools: Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation for automating deployments.

Key Responsibilities:

• System Administration: Administer and manage Linux systems, ensuring optimal performance and uptime.
• Monitoring Configuration: Manage and configure monitoring tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, and Promtail.
• Network Discovery & Monitoring: Design and troubleshoot network discovery and monitoring solutions.
• Automation: Write automation scripts using Bash and Python to improve operational workflows.
• Cloud Monitoring: Implement monitoring strategies for cloud-based infrastructure.
• Network Device Integration: Integrate routers, switches, and firewalls with monitoring systems.
• CI/CD Integration: Ensure that monitoring tools are incorporated into CI/CD pipelines.
• IaC Deployment: Leverage IaC tools like Terraform and Ansible to automate infrastructure and deployment processes.
