Job Brief:
Flentas Technologies is seeking an experienced AWS Cloud Engineer to join our team. As an AWS Cloud
Engineer, you will be responsible for the deployment, management, and maintenance of cloud
infrastructure on the Amazon Web Services (AWS) platform. The role will involve ensuring the
availability, performance, and security of our cloud-based applications and services. The ideal candidate
should have hands-on experience working with AWS technologies and a solid understanding of cloud
computing principles.

Job Description:
Cloud Infrastructure Management:
- Deploy, configure, and manage cloud-based infrastructure on AWS.
- Monitor and maintain the health, performance, and availability of cloud resources. Optimize
resource utilization and cost efficiency.
- Implement and manage backup and disaster recovery strategies.
- Hands-on with AWS (Amazon Web Services) Cloud with DevOps services and CloudFormat
- Experience in setting up Cloud Agnostic and Cloud Native CI/CD Pipeline
System Administration:
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls on AWS. Perform system upgrades,
patches, and security updates.
- Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and application-related issues.
- Implement and enforce security best practices and compliance requirements.
Automation and Scripting:
- Develop and maintain automation scripts and templates using tools like AWS CloudFormation,
AWS CLI, or Infrastructure as Code (IaC) frameworks.
- Streamline deployment processes and improve operational efficiency through automation.
- Experience in automation tools like Terraform, Ansible, Chef, Puppet.
Monitoring and Performance Optimization:
Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement optimizations.
Configure and maintain monitoring tools for proactive alerting and troubleshooting.
Conduct capacity planning and scaling of resources as needed.
Collaboration and Documentation:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers and system administrators,
to support the development and deployment of cloud-based applications.
Document system configurations, processes, and procedures.
Contribute to knowledge sharing and guide junior team members.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field. Minimum 2
years of hands-on experience as an DevOps Engineer.
Strong knowledge of AWS services, including EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, IAM, and Cloud Watch.
Experience with infrastructure automation and configuration management tools like AWS Cloud
Formation, Ansible, or Terraform.
Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Power Shell, or Bash.
Solid understanding of networking concepts and security best practices in a cloud environment.
Experience with monitoring and logging tools, such as AWS Cloud Watch, ELK Stack, or
Prometheus. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified SysOps Administrator, AWS Certified Solutions Architect)
are a plus.
