Job Description
As a DevOps Engineer at our organisation, you will play a crucial role in enhancing our development and deployment processes. You will work closely with development, QA, and operations teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of high-quality software. Your expertise will contribute to the stability, scalability, and performance of our applications and infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- 1. Infrastructure Management: Design, implement, and maintain scalable, secure, and reliable infrastructure on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- 2. Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD): Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate code deployment, testing, and delivery processes.
- 3. Monitoring and Logging: Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions to ensure system performance, availability, and reliability.
- 4. Configuration Management: Use configuration management tools (Ansible, Puppet, Chef) to automate system setup, configuration, and updates.
- 5. Collaboration: Work closely with development teams to understand their needs and provide support for development, testing, and deployment environments.
- 6. Security: Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with industry standards.
- 7. Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve issues in development, testing, and production environments.
- 8. Documentation: Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of configurations, processes, and procedures.
- 1. Strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, OCP).
- 2. Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, etc.).
- 3. Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, etc.).
- 4. Knowledge of containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
- 5. Familiarity with configuration management tools (Ansible, Puppet, Chef).
- 6. Experience with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
- 1. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- 2. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- 3. Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Certifications: Relevant certifications (AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Docker Certified Associate, etc.) are a plus.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or any field is preferred.
