- Providing 24/7 infra support for hosting the workloads for the Engineering teams, and also building processes and documenting tribal knowledge at the same time.
- Managing application deployment - automate and improve development and release processes.
- Implement best practices for cloud infrastructure and configuration management, and continuously automate toil and repetitive work.
- Owning and onboarding the infrastructure of new applications with the production readiness using Cloudformation scripts in Terraform/Yaml.
- Integrating testing environments(Integration + Performance) into the release pipeline enables developers to be able to deploy and test releases seamlessly.
- Creating/maintaining the respective observability and log management with Prometheus/New Relic/ELK. Identifying observability gaps in application and infrastructure, and working with stakeholders to fix them.
- Working with CI/CD tools to continuously improve the build and deployment pipeline, EKS/EBS, CodePipeline/Jenkins/Bitbucket, and Maven.
- Taking part in cost optimisation initiatives by staying up to date and experimenting with the latest developments in cloud service providers.
- 1-4 Years of experience in managing high-traffic, large-scale microservices and infrastructure with excellent troubleshooting skills.
- Cloud experience: AWS and Google Cloud.
- Experience writing automation scripts in YAML/Terraform for deployments to AWS CloudFormation.
- Experience working with monitoring and log management tools like AWS Cloudwatch/Prometheus/New Relic/ELK.
- Experience setting up environments for testing in Staging and UAT, and integrating performance testing frameworks like Jmeter into the deployment pipeline.
- Shell/Bash/Python scripting.
- Experience with Docker.
- Experience working with build and packaging tools for the following programming languages -> Java + Spring(Maven) / NodeJs(Npm) / Golang (go build).
- Experience with SonarQube and integrating code quality checks into the release pipeline.
- Experience in Kubernetes / EKS.
