About the Role: We’re looking for a DevOps Engineer who thrives in a fast-paced, innovative environment to help HungerBox scale its platform to new heights, while owning and driving the development of our infrastructure

- Manage and scale a highly available HungerBox infrastructure on AWS Cloud to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Monitor system health and availability, ensuring maximum uptime and high service quality.
- Setup and maintain CI/CD pipelines to streamline development workflows and deployments.
- Collaborate closely with the Software Development team to design, build, and implement new solutions.
- 1-3 years of experience in a DevOps /SRE role.
- Hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, VPC, IAM, ECS, RDS, Elasticache, CloudFront, S3, etc).
- Strong scripting skills in languages such as Python and Bash, with a proven ability to troubleshoot, automate tasks, and streamline processes.
- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, such as Terraform, for infrastructure automation and management.
- Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions to enable continuous integration and delivery.
- Experience in managing, optimising, and scaling infrastructure leveraging AWS cloud services (EC2, IAM, VPC, S3, etc.) and best practices for cloud architecture, ensuring high availability, reliability, and performance.
- Experience with observability and monitoring tools like New Relic, Grafana, Prometheus, and the ELK stack, to maintain a reliable and scalable infrastructure.
- Experience with containerisation technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like ECS.
- Strong scripting skills in languages such as Python and Bash, with a proven ability to troubleshoot and automate tasks.
- Strong working knowledge of branching strategy and SCM in GitHub.
- Experience in cost optimisation by identifying and implementing strategies to reduce cost, ensure efficient resource allocation, and maintain performance.
- Knowledge of RBAC and least privilege access controls for secure access management in cloud environments.
- Experience with Ansible for automation and configuration management across infrastructure.
- AWS Certifications (e.g., AWS Practitioner, Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer) demonstrating in-depth knowledge and expertise in AWS cloud services.
