Overview
Key Responsibilities
- Support the setup and maintenance of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Assist in building, managing, and optimizing CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
- Provision, configure, and manage cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP/Azure) under the guidance of senior engineers.
- Support containerization using Docker and work with Kubernetes for orchestration in development or staging environments.
- Perform routine Linux system administration tasks, including security patches, updates, and monitoring.
- Collaborate with developers to ensure seamless code integration, deployment, and environment consistency.
- Help implement monitoring and alerting solutions to track performance and uptime.
- Document infrastructure and deployment processes clearly and concisely.
- Contribute to automation initiatives to reduce manual effort and improve deployment speed.
- Stay up to date with emerging DevOps tools and practices.
- Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT/EC or MCA.
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in a DevOps or related role.
- Familiarity with IaC tools (Terraform or CloudFormation).
- Working knowledge of CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
- Good understanding of Linux system administration.
- Experience in cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Basic scripting skills using Python, Bash, or similar.
- Exposure to Docker and basic Kubernetes concepts.
- Version control experience using Git.
- Strong problem-solving skills and eagerness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication and collaboration skills.
