DevOps Engineer

Overview

Role: DevOps Engineer

Experience: 3 to 5 years

Location: Rajajinagar, Bangalore.

Key Responsibilities:

· Set up, manage, and maintain cloud infrastructure on AWS and Azure environments.

· Perform Linux-based system administration and troubleshoot OS-related issues.

· Configure and manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, ensuring smooth and automated deployments.

· Work with Docker for containerization and assist in managing container-based applications.

· Learn and contribute to infrastructure automation using tools like Ansible.

· Experience of setting up and working with high availability architecture such as App service, clustering and load balancing

· Maintain and manage baseline security architecture for all infrastructure, network, data and access control

· Setup any upcoming technology integrations such as code review, load testing and test automation

· Monitor system performance, uptime, and availability using relevant monitoring and enterprise management tools.

· Investigate and resolve issues related to deployments, servers, and infrastructure. Experience in managing organization continuity management such as backup / recovery within established SLAs.

· Maintain clear technical documentation and contribute to best practices and knowledge sharing.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

· 3+ years of hands-on experience with Linux system administration and shell scripting.

· Practical exposure to AWS and/or Azure platforms in a professional or project-based environment. Azure DevOps certification preferred.

· Working knowledge of Jenkins and CI/CD pipeline setup. Exposure or knowledge of leading CI/CD systems preferred such as Azure Pipeline

· Experience with Docker and understanding of container lifecycle, microservices, Kafka, RabbitMQ etc.,

· Scripting knowledge in Bash, Python, or using YAML for tools like Ansible.

· Good understanding of infrastructure as code concepts and automation practices.

· Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

· Enthusiastic about learning new tools, technologies, and working in a collaborative team environment.
