Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior DevOps Engineer with over 7 years of hands-on experience in designing, implementing, and managing scalable DevOps solutions. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in GitLab, Terraform, and a solid background in scripting, container orchestration (Kubernetes), CI/CD, cloud platforms, and other modern DevOps tools and practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and manage robust CI/CD pipelines using GitLab.
• Infrastructure provisioning and management using Terraform.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to streamline release cycles and ensure reliable deployment processes.
• Maintain and improve cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Automate operational processes using shell scripting, Python, or other relevant languages.
• Monitor system performance, availability, and reliability; respond to production incidents as needed.
• Maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and Configuration Management standards.
• Implement best practices for security, scalability, and availability.
• Mentor junior DevOps engineers and help evolve the DevOps culture within the organization.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 7+ years of experience in DevOps or related roles.
• Strong hands-on experience with GitLab (CI/CD pipelines, runners, etc.).
• Proven expertise in Terraform for IaC.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Shell, Python, or Bash.
• Solid understanding and working experience with Kubernetes and Docker.
• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Strong background in system administration, networking, and security best practices.
• Experience with monitoring/logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK).
• Knowledge of configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Chef, or Puppet) is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a collaborative mindset.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS DevOps Engineer, CKAD, Terraform Associate).
• Experience with GitOps or progressive delivery tools like ArgoCD or Flux.
• Familiarity with agile software development lifecycle.

Job Types: Full-time, Contractual / Temporary
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: ₹1,000,000.00 - ₹2,000,000.00 per year
