Overview
POSITION DESCRIPTION:
As a DevOps Engineer, focused on AMC Bridge Internal Department, you will be responsible for supporting CI/CD processes, managing cloud infrastructure on AWS and/or Azure, maintaining server environments, and assisting in containerization and automation efforts. The ideal candidate will have a basic understanding of DevOps tools and practices, scripting skills, and a strong willingness to learn and grow within a collaborative team environment. The position also includes ability to work with customer projects in the near future (within 6 months - 1 year).
LOCATION: Tashkent (Uzbekistan), Chennai, Pune (India)
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE:
1.5+ years of experience in DevOps / SRE or a related field.
EDUCATION:
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Basic understanding of cloud platforms: AWS and/or Azure
- Familiarity with CI/CD concepts and common tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps)
- Basic experience with Linux and Windows server administration
- Knowledge of scripting (Bash, PowerShell, or Python)
- Understanding of containerization (Docker, basic Kubernetes concepts) as well as Git Workflow
- Good problem-solving and communication skills
- Willingness to learn new DevOps tools and technologies
- Ability to read and write technical documentation in English (B1/B2 level)
DUTIES:
- Assist in maintaining and enhancing CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps
- Support deployment and monitoring processes for applications hosted on AWS and/or Azure
- Collaborate with developers and system administrators to automate and streamline infrastructure operations
- Manage and troubleshoot Linux and Windows-based server environments
- Implement and support containerization solutions using Docker and basic Kubernetes concepts
- Write and maintain scripts (Bash, PowerShell, or Python) to automate repetitive tasks and system configurations
- Monitor system performance and availability, assisting in incident response and root cause analysis
- Follow Git workflows and participate in code versioning and collaboration activities
- Document infrastructure processes, deployment procedures, and operational guides
- Continuously learn and apply new DevOps tools and best practices to improve system reliability and development workflows
NICE TO HAVE:
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, Pulumi)
- Basic knowledge of monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK)
- Previous experience in a technical support or system administration role
