DevOps Engineer

We are looking for a skilled and experienced DevOps Engineer to join our team and play a critical role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Azure DevOps Pipelines, Azure Cloud, Kubernetes, Helm, and Terraform. This role demands a deep understanding of modern DevOps practices, automation, and infrastructure-as-code (IaC) to ensure scalable, secure, and reliable deployments.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps Pipelines to automate build, test, and deployment processes.
• Ensure pipelines are optimized for speed, reliability, and scalability.
• Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure on Azure, ensuring high availability, performance, and cost-efficiency.
• Implement and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using Terraform for consistent and repeatable deployments.
• Deploy and manage containerized applications using Kubernetes.
• Create and manage Helm charts for application deployments and configuration management.
• Monitor and troubleshoot Kubernetes clusters to ensure smooth operation.
• Automate routine tasks and workflows to improve operational efficiency.
• Set up monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to ensure application and infrastructure health.
• Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and deployment issues proactively.
• Work closely with development, QA, and product teams to ensure smooth integration and delivery of software.
• Provide guidance and support to teams on DevOps best practices and tools.
• Collaborate with security teams to implement and maintain secure DevOps practices.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of experience in a DevOps or related role, with a focus on cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong experience with Azure DevOps Pipelines for CI/CD automation.
• Proficiency in managing Azure cloud services, including virtual networks, storage, and compute resources.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes for container orchestration and Helm for package management.
• Expertise in Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools like Terraform for provisioning and managing cloud resources.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash, PowerShell, or Python for automation.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or Azure Monitor.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to debug and resolve complex infrastructure issues.
• Experience with other cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP).
• Familiarity with service mesh technologies like Istio or Linkerd.
• Knowledge of security best practices in DevOps, including secrets management and vulnerability scanning.
• Experience with GitOps tools like ArgoCD or Flux.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
