- Infrastructure Automation & CI/CD Management (30%): Design, implement, and maintain automated deployment pipelines using tools like GitHub Actions, Tekton. Build infrastructure as code using Crossplane, Terraform or similar tools to ensure consistent, repeatable deployments across development, staging, and production environments. This reduces manual errors, accelerates delivery cycles, and enables reliable scaling.
- Container Orchestration & Cloud Infrastructure (20%): Manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes, optimizing resource utilization and scaling strategies. Maintain cloud infrastructure across AWS and GCP implementing security best practices and cost optimization measures. This ensures efficient resource usage and secure, scalable deployments.
- System Reliability & Monitoring (20%): Implement comprehensive monitoring, alerting, and observability solutions using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, Coralogix and New Relic. Establish and maintain service level objectives (SLOs), conduct post-incident reviews, and develop runbooks for incident response. This ensures high system availability and rapid problem resolution.
- Incident Response & On-Call Support (20%): Serve as primary responder for system outages and performance issues, troubleshooting across the entire technology stack. Lead incident management processes, coordinate with development teams, and implement permanent fixes to prevent recurrence. This minimizes downtime and maintains customer trust.
- Performance Optimization & Capacity Planning (10%): Analyze system performance metrics, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions for database optimization, caching strategies, and load balancing. Forecast capacity needs and plan infrastructure scaling to support business growth while maintaining performance standards.
We realize applying for jobs can feel daunting at times. Even if you don’t check all the boxes in the job description, we encourage you to apply anyway.

- Hands-on experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and orchestrating deployments across multiple environments.
- Deep practical experience with monitoring and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, or similar) as core components of your daily operational workflow.
- Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure landscape, including the capabilities and limitations of major providers (AWS, GCP, Azure) and when to apply different services.
- Experience building and maintaining reliable systems as a collaborator who contributes to architecture decisions and helps shape infrastructure roadmaps.
- Familiarity with high-performing, agile development teams and best practices including automated testing, code reviews, and feature flag deployments.
- Experience with service mesh technologies (Istio, Linkerd) or advanced networking concepts in containerized environments.
- Prior experience implementing SRE practices including SLO/SLI definition, error budgets, and chaos engineering principles.
- A degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or completed technical certification in cloud platforms or DevOps practices.
- Advanced database administration skills in PostgreSQL, including performance tuning and backup/recovery procedures.
