Job Role

We are seeking a skilled Senior DevOps Python Engineer with strong expertise in GitLab CI, Python, and Ansible to design and implement automated guardrails for enterprise infrastructure. This role will focus on embedding compliance and best practices directly into CI/CD workflows, ensuring Ansible playbooks, collections, and execution environments meet defined standards before deployment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain automated guardrails in GitLab CI pipelines to validate Ansible playbooks, collections, and execution environments.
• Implement compliance checks to enforce enterprise infrastructure standards across automation workflows.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate guardrails seamlessly into existing CI/CD processes.
• Troubleshoot and optimize CI/CD pipelines for scalability, performance, and reliability.
• Document processes, standards, and guardrail implementations to support knowledge sharing across teams.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 7+ years of Experience in the required field.
• Proven ability to write and update GitLab CI pipelines.
• Proficiency in Python, particularly for automation and scripting.
• Experience in designing and implementing automated compliance checks or guardrails within CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with enterprise DevOps practices, infrastructure as code (IaC), and automation at scale.
• Experience with Ansible (playbooks, collections, execution environments).
