As we continue our exponential growth across different verticals, we are launching an exclusive program in India seeking engineers that can support the deployment of AI agents in our client environments.

Position Overview

We are seeking experienced Forward Deployed Engineers (DevOps Focused) to participate in this first-of-its-kind pilot program at Scale AI. In this role, you will work closely with our incredible Engineering teams and eventually with client stakeholders to design, deploy, and support infrastructure that enables AI-driven solutions. The position requires strong technical proficiency, adaptability, and a commitment to operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive the deployment of AI agents across leading cloud platforms, including AWS, Azure, and GCP, by applying established best-practice playbooks.
• Develop automation scripts and tooling to streamline deployments
• Contribute to frontend changes where necessary (proficiency in Typescript)
• Partner with internal teams and progressively engage with customers to ensure successful outcomes
• Maintain alignment with Europe and US teams through overlapping working hours
• Work in Scale AI environment with company provided machines

Program Details

• Duration: minimum of 4 weeks with the possibility of extension
• Compensation: Up to $25/hour
• Engagement: Full-time commitment during the program (min. 40 hours a week)
• Location: Bangalore (Work from Office 5 days a week)
• Timings: 8 Hours of Overlap with US timezone

Qualifications

• Degree in CS, AI/ML or related field
• Minimum 3-4 years of professional work experience at product-based tech companies
• Proven expertise (min. 3-4 years) with cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, and GCP
• Experience with Kubernetes
• Strong proficiency in shell scripting and automation practices
• Proficiency in frontend development using Typescript
• Experience supporting distributed teams and dynamic project environments
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
