We are seeking an exceptionally capable and driven DevOps Engineer. This role is not defined by years of experience, but by a proven aptitude for building, maintaining, and optimizing the critical CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, and deployment environment that powers our platform. The ideal candidate possesses a deep understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC), container orchestration, and the ability to ensure maximum reliability, scalability, and efficiency across all services.

Role

• Define and champion the architecture and strategy for cloud infrastructure and continuous delivery.
• Translate complex deployment and scalability needs into clear, automated IaC solutions.
• Collaborate with development and AI teams to optimize application deployment strategies.
• Conduct continuous monitoring, security hardening, and performance tuning of the platform.

Responsibilities

• Envision and Define: Design and implement scalable, highly available cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure) to support product growth.
• Strategy & Roadmap: Build and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines to fully automate builds, tests, and deployments across different environments.
• Execution Leadership & Quality: Manage container orchestration using industry standards (Docker, Kubernetes) and leverage cloud-native services for efficiency.
• Technical Acumen: Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or Ansible. Expert scripting skills (Bash, Python, or similar) for automation and environment tasks.
• Observability: Monitor system health, performance, security, and availability using advanced tooling (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack), ensuring proactive alerting and remediation.
• Security & Reliability: Establish and support comprehensive disaster recovery, backup, and failover strategies.
• Stakeholder Communication: Clearly communicate infrastructure status, incident reports, and deployment progress.

Skills & Aptitude

• Exceptional Logical Thinking & Problem-Solving: Proven ability to diagnose and resolve complex infrastructure and deployment issues quickly and logically.
• Core Technical Mastery: Proven experience with major cloud platforms and deep knowledge of container orchestration tools (Kubernetes).
• Automation Focus: Proficiency in CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI) and strong knowledge of IaC and configuration management.
• Analytical Mindset: Familiarity with monitoring, logging, and tracing tools for comprehensive observability.
• Technical Acumen: Expert scripting skills and ability to manage development/staging environments efficiently.
• Communication & Influence: Superior ability to articulate infrastructure risks and automation benefits to technical teams.

Preferred Background

• Evidence of having designed and scaled a production environment using Kubernetes in a major cloud or on baremetal infrastructure.
• Experience in implementing GitOps or other modern deployment paradigms.
• Demonstrated side projects showcasing self-taught skills in cloud-native architecture or security best practices.
