Overview
To support our growth, client is looking for a DevOps Engineer to join our Platform team within our
broader Products organization. You will mainly be focusing on improving our existing infrastructure, as
well as coming up with and implementing new solutions that drive our business forward. A flavor of
what you will be doing:
● Design, develop, and maintain Terraform configurations for creating and managing GCP
resources
● Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) best practices
● Automate infrastructure deployments and configuration management using CI/CD pipelines
● Collaborate with product development teams to ensure smooth deployments and operations
● Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure issues
● Stay up-to-date on the latest GCP and Terraform features and best practices
Aside from the above mentioned “objectives”, you will also be able to learn from state-of-the-art IoT
technology, together with a joyous mix of high-potentials and well seasoned professionals.
Requirements
● A minimum of 5 years experience as a DevOps Engineer
● Experience with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Bitbucket Pipelines, Jenkins, Gitlab CI/CD)
● Scripting experience with languages like Bash or Python
● Knowledge of Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles
● Experience with a cloud service provider, preferably GCP
● Ability to work independently and as part of a team
● Healthy level of criticism, i.e. not afraid to challenge the status quo
● Proactive mindset, spotting problems / challenges, but also drafting the potential solution and
acting upon it
● Fluent in English
● Be open to traveling to Belgium up to 2–3 times per year
