DevOps Engineer

Overview

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated DevOps Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting and defining development, testing, release, update, and support processes for DevOps operations. You will also troubleshoot server issues, optimize infrastructure, automate processes, and ensure the smooth operation of our development and production environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Defining DevOps Processes: Establish and manage best practices for development, testing, release, update, and support processes in a DevOps environment.
• Troubleshooting & Server Maintenance: Diagnose and resolve server issues in real-time to minimize system downtime.
• CICD Pipeline: Set up, manage, and maintain continuous integration and continuous deployment (CICD) pipelines using Jenkins, Ansible, and Maven.
• Version Control: Use Git and GitLab flow to efficiently manage code and collaborate with development teams.
• Linux OS Management: Manage and troubleshoot Linux-based systems to ensure optimal performance and stability.
• Scripting & Automation: Write and maintain Python and Shell scripts to automate routine tasks and improve operational efficiency.
• Web Server Setup: Install and configure web servers (e.g., Apache, Nginx) to support application deployment.
• Automation: Foster a culture of automation and continuously improve deployment processes to reduce manual intervention.
• Monitoring & Alerts: Utilize monitoring tools such as Nagios, Zabbix, and Grafana to keep track of system performance, and respond to alerts and incidents.
• Cloud Environments: Work with multiple cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) to deploy and manage infrastructure.
• Database Configuration: Configure and maintain databases including MySQL, Cassandra, and MongoDB.
• Containerization: Leverage Docker and Kubernetes to deploy and manage applications in containerized environments.
• Root Cause Analysis: Investigate production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Ansible, Maven).
• Strong experience with Git and GitLab flow.
• Extensive knowledge of Linux operating systems (e.g., Ubuntu, CentOS, RedHat).
• Expertise in Python and Shell scripting.
• Solid understanding of web server installation and configuration (Apache, Nginx, etc.).
• Familiarity with monitoring tools (Nagios, Zabbix, Grafana).
• Hands-on experience with cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Knowledge of database configuration and setup (MySQL, Cassandra, MongoDB).
• Proficiency in Docker and Kubernetes for container orchestration.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and experience with root cause analysis of production errors.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
