Our Team:
Our team is engaged in designing and delivering Digital Technology Services and Platforms for all CHC worldwide. We deliver our solutions in a highly competitive market answering FMCH needs and sometimes supporting highly regulated environments (GxP, SoX and other regional and local regulations).
Our team operates in an international context, serving all markets in most of the countries around the world.
Main responsibilities
This position will develop software engineering solutions & services that will be significant business enablers for CHC Business, either by levering existing technologies or bringing new enabling technologies, optimizing costs, and simplifying these products & services.
Main responsibilities:
Design, implement, and maintain DevOps processes using GitHub and Azure.
Automate application and infrastructure deployment and management processes using Terraform and Ansible.
Monitor application and instance performance using observability tools.
Ensure application and infrastructure scalability, security, and cost-efficiency using DevSecFinOps principles.
Collaborate with software developers to design and implement software solutions that meet scalability, reliability, and performance requirements.
Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure issues in a timely manner.
Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools to improve efficiency and productivity.
Maintain accurate documentation and provide regular reports on system performance.
Continuously learn and keep up to date with the latest technologies and industry trends.
About you
Experience:
We are seeking an experienced DevOps, who should have strong experience with Azure, Docker, and Github, along with expertise in application and instance monitoring using observability tools like NewRelic or Dynatrace. They should possess a desire for automation, a clear understanding of DevSecFinOps principles, and be able to improve software delivery performance. Proficiency in Git, GitHub, and understanding of GitHub actions, as well as experience with IaC tools like Terraform, are important. Good communication skills, the ability to work in a team environment, and a development background with strong coding and scripting skills (preferably Python or JS/TS) are necessary.
Technical skills:
A strong understanding of Azure cloud and familiarity with Docker containers. Bonus points if you have experience with Kubernetes orchestration.
Experience with Infrastructure and Configuration as Code (IaC) tools, preferably Terraform and Ansible, as it enables to define infrastructure resources in a declarative manner and provision them consistently, efficiently, and reliably.
Familiarity with observability tools like NewRelic or Dynatrace is required as it allows to gather insights into application health, diagnose performance bottlenecks, and ensure optimal application performance and availability.

Effective communication skills are crucial for DevOps professionals to convey technical concepts, collaborate with team members, and present findings or recommendations.
Judgement - The ability to draw logical conclusions based on acquired information and analytical rigor in problem-solving, the ability to make effective decisions even when information is ambiguous or incomplete.
Drive - Takes the lead and initiates activities with a high degree of passion and commitment as well as the drive, desire and need to achieve challenging goals, to improve performance or to meet personal standards of excellence.
Being pragmatic and not “technology for technology” oriented
Strong collaboration skills are essential to effectively communicate, coordinate efforts, and work together towards common goals. They should be able to build relationships, share knowledge, and contribute to a positive team dynamic.
Education:
While not mandatory, relevant educational background or certifications related to software development would be a plus.
Languages:
Fluency in written and spoken English.
