Overview
We are seeking a proactive DevOps Engineer to manage and scale our infrastructure across global deployments. You will work on deploying and maintaining infrastructure in data centers across multiple countries to meet data residency requirements. You will also help streamline CI/CD pipelines, build robust alerting and incident response systems, and manage infrastructure as code. You’ll be responsible for identifying areas for cost optimization and ensuring the platform’s health and security.
Key Responsibilities
• Assist in maintaining hybrid cloud and on-premises infrastructure across global data centers to meet data residency requirements.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and CloudFormation to automate provisioning, updates, and decommissioning.
• Support CI/CD processes with tools like Bazel and Jenkins, ensuring reliable and efficient deployments.
• Configure and monitor observability tools (Zabbix, Datadog), set up alerts, and maintain centralized logging.
• Work with dashboards (Grafana, Metabase) and integrate product analytics tools (MixPanel, Countly) to track system and usage metrics.
• Deploy and manage containerized applications with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Enforce security best practices, RBAC, and compliance protocols.
• Handle day-to-day incident resolution, escalate issues as needed, and support playbook execution.
• Contribute to cost efficiency efforts such as lifecycle management and usage optimization.
Requirements
Required Skills and Qualifications
• Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer, with a strong background in software engineering and in-depth knowledge of AWS.
• Certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect or DevOps Engineer are highly desirable.
• Proficiency with DevOps tools and practices, including CI/CD, IaC (Infrastructure as Code), and automation tools like Terraform and CloudFormation.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
Preferred Skills
• Experience in the healthcare industry, with an understanding of compliance and security requirements.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies and project management practices.
