DevOps Engineer

Overview

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer with 2+ years of hands-on experience to support our infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud environments. The candidate will work closely with senior DevOps engineers and development teams to ensure reliable deployments, system stability, and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate should be eager to learn new tools and technologies as required by the project.

Responsibilities

• Assist in designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar tools.
• Deploy, manage, and monitor applications on AWS cloud environments.
• Manage and maintain Linux servers (Ubuntu/CentOS).
• Support Docker-based application deployments and container lifecycle management.
• Work closely with developers to troubleshoot build, deployment, and runtime issues.
• Assist in implementing security best practices, including IAM, secrets management, and basic system hardening.
• Document processes, runbooks, and standard operating procedures.
  
  

• 2-3 years of experience in a DevOps / Cloud / Infrastructure role.
• Core understanding of DevOps principles and cloud computing.
• Strong understanding of Linux fundamentals.
• Hands-on experience with Docker for application deployment and container management.
• Working knowledge of CI/CD tools, especially Jenkins and GitHub Actions.
• Experience with AWS services, including EC2 IAM, S3 VPC, RDS, and other basic services.
• Good understanding of networking concepts, including DNS, ports, firewalls, security groups, and load balancing basics.
• Experience working with web servers such as Nginx or Apache.
• Understanding of SSL/TLS certificates and HTTPS configuration.
• Basic knowledge of databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL) from an operational perspective.
• Ability to troubleshoot deployment, server, and application-level issues.
• Willingness and ability to learn new tools and technologies as required for project needs.
  
  

• Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, and ELK.
• Basic experience or understanding of Kubernetes.
• Basic Python or shell scripting to automate routine operational tasks.
