DevOps Engineer

Overview

Role Overview
We are looking for a skilled DevOps Engineer to design, implement, and manage scalable infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines. You will work closely with development and operations teams to improve system reliability, automate workflows, and accelerate software delivery while maintaining high standards of security and performance.

Key Responsibilities
• Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, and deployment
• Manage cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP) for scalability and reliability
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation
• Monitor system performance, availability, and reliability using observability tools
• Automate repetitive operational tasks and improve developer workflows
• Collaborate with engineering teams to deploy and manage applications in production
• Ensure system security, compliance, and data protection best practices
• Troubleshoot production issues and ensure quick resolution (incident management)
• Maintain documentation for systems, processes, and configurations

Required Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• 3–7+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or infrastructure engineering
• Strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, etc.)
• Proficiency in scripting languages (Bash, Python, or similar)
• Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred)
• Understanding of networking, security, and system architecture

Preferred Qualifications
• IIT Graduates
• Experience with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, Datadog, etc.)
• Knowledge of microservices and distributed systems architecture
• Experience with configuration management tools (Ansible, Chef, Puppet)
• Familiarity with DevSecOps practices and security automation
• Exposure to cost optimization and cloud resource management
• Certification in cloud platforms (AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, etc.)
