Overview

Role Overview
As a DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, automating, securing, and optimizing the complete cloud infrastructure of ZEX. You will work closely with backend developers, security engineers, AI teams, and product architects to ensure reliability, scalability, and operational excellence.
This role requires strong expertise in cloud platforms, containerization, CI/CD automation, infrastructure-as-code, monitoring, security hardening, and high-availability architecture.

Key Responsibilities

• Cloud Infrastructure Management
• Design and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Build highly available and fault-tolerant systems.
• Optimize cloud resource utilization and costs.
• Configure VPCs, networking, load balancing, DNS, and security groups.
• CI/CD & Automation
• Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
• Automate deployment workflows.
• Implement blue-green deployments and rolling updates.
• Ensure zero-downtime production releases.
• Containerization & Orchestration
• Deploy and manage Docker containers.
• Design and maintain Kubernetes clusters.
• Manage container scaling and orchestration.
• Optimize resource allocation and performance.
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
• Implement infrastructure using Terraform.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning.
• Maintain version-controlled infrastructure environments.
• Monitoring & Reliability Engineering
• Implement observability solutions.
• Configure monitoring dashboards.
• Set up logging and alerting systems.
• Perform root cause analysis during incidents.
• Security & Compliance
• Implement cloud security best practices.
• Configure IAM roles and access controls.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments.
• Manage secrets and certificate infrastructure.
• Support cybersecurity compliance initiatives.
• Database & Storage Operations
• Manage PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis, and Elasticsearch environments.
• Configure backups and disaster recovery.
• Monitor database performance and availability.
• Performance Optimization
• Optimize application infrastructure.
• Improve scalability and latency.
• Conduct load testing and capacity planning.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience managing infrastructure serving 100K+ users.
• Experience in cybersecurity, fintech, insurtech, or SaaS platforms.
• Knowledge of Zero Trust Architecture.
• Experience with SOC/SIEM integrations.
• Knowledge of API security and microservices architecture.
• Experience implementing disaster recovery and business continuity systems.
• Understanding of AI/ML infrastructure deployment.
