• Key Responsibilities of a DevOps Engineer:
• Infrastructure as Code: Managing and provisioning infrastructure through code rather than manual configuration, ensuring consistency and repeatability.
• Automation: Developing and implementing scripts and tools to automate tasks like build, test, and deployment processes.
• Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD): Setting up and maintaining pipelines for continuous integration and delivery, enabling faster and more reliable software releases.
• Monitoring and Logging: Setting up monitoring systems to track the health and performance of applications and infrastructure, and providing logs for debugging and analysis.
• Troubleshooting and Problem Solving: Investigating and resolving technical issues that arise in development, testing, and production environments.
• Collaborative Management: Working closely with development, operations, and other teams to improve processes, share knowledge, and ensure smooth collaboration.
• Security: Implementing security measures throughout the software development lifecycle, often referred to as DevSecOps, to protect against vulnerabilities.
• System Administration: Performing system administration tasks, such as provisioning and managing servers, deploying databases, and managing networks.
