DevOps Engineer (Fresher / 1 Year Experience)

About the Role
We are looking for a motivated and passionate DevOps Engineer with up to 1 year of experience (or strong internship experience) to join our engineering team. You will work closely with senior DevOps engineers and developers to build, automate, and maintain our cloud and CI/CD infrastructure.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to learn modern DevOps practices, cloud technologies, automation, and infrastructure operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions / GitLab CI / Jenkins).
• Support cloud infrastructure deployment and management (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Work with containers and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Implement basic monitoring, logging, and alerting setups.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure issues under guidance from senior engineers.
• Help automate routine operational tasks using scripting (Bash/Python).
• Participate in code reviews, documentation, and process improvements.
• Maintain configuration management using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or Helm (basic knowledge expected).

Required Skills

• Basic understanding of Linux fundamentals and shell commands.
• Hands-on exposure to AWS, Azure, or GCP (projects/internship/certification).
• Familiarity with Docker and containerization.
• Basics of Kubernetes (pods, services, deployments).
• Knowledge of CI/CD concepts.
• Ability to write basic automation scripts using Bash or Python.
• Understanding of networking basics (VPC, subnets, DNS, firewalls, load balancers).
• Strong problem-solving skills and eagerness to learn.

Good to Have (Optional)

• Experience with Terraform / Ansible / Helm.
• Understanding of monitoring/logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK / EFK).
• Exposure to GitOps tools (ArgoCD / Flux).
• Any DevOps or Cloud certification (AWS/GCP/Azure).
