Role Overview
As a Conga CPQ Business Analyst, you will serve as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, translating business processes into scalable CPQ solutions.
You will be responsible for driving the functional design and delivery of the Conga CPQ platform, ensuring alignment with overall business goals, product structures, pricing rules, and integration with ERP systems.
Key Responsibilities
CPQ Functional Ownership :
As a Conga CPQ Business Analyst, you will serve as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, translating business processes into scalable CPQ solutions.
You will be responsible for driving the functional design and delivery of the Conga CPQ platform, ensuring alignment with overall business goals, product structures, pricing rules, and integration with ERP systems.
Key Responsibilities
CPQ Functional Ownership :
- Lead and manage the functional implementation and enhancement of Conga CPQ and Conga CLM solutions.
- Develop and optimize product configuration logic, pricing structures, and discounting workflows in Conga CPQ.
- Design and maintain complex product catalogs, option constraints, pricing rules, quote templates, and approval workflows.
- Gather, document, and analyze business requirements related to the quote-to-cash lifecycle, product management, pricing strategies, and contract lifecycle.
- Translate high-level business needs into detailed functional and technical specifications including user stories, process maps, and data models.
- Conduct detailed impact analysis and feasibility studies for proposed system changes and integrations.
- Author and maintain high-quality user stories with clearly defined acceptance criteria in agile delivery environments.
- Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and cross-functional workshops.
- Drive system validation, regression testing, and documentation of solution architecture and process flows.
- Design, execute, and manage test plans and test cases for unit, system, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Coordinate with QA teams and business stakeholders to validate functional workflows and resolve defects.
- Ensure traceability between business requirements, test cases, and solution delivery.
- Collaborate with ERP functional teams (Oracle, SAP, NetSuite, etc.) for seamless integration between CPQ and downstream order, pricing, and fulfillment modules.
- Support data mapping, transformation logic, and interface validations between CPQ and ERP systems.
- Act as the primary functional contact for the client and internal teams for all CPQ-related requirements.
- Lead business review sessions, present solution walkthroughs, and manage stakeholder expectations effectively.
- Provide post-deployment support and continuous improvement recommendations.
- 79 years of focused experience in Conga CPQ and/or Conga CLM in a Business Analyst or Functional Consultant role.
- Strong understanding of CPQ concepts such as product configuration, pricing models, quote generation, approval matrices, and contract management.
- Experience working with ERP systems (Oracle, SAP, NetSuite, etc.) for downstream process integration.
- Proficient in using Agile methodologies and tools like JIRA, Confluence, or similar.
- Excellent skills in stakeholder engagement, communication, requirement elicitation, and business process modeling.
- Certified Conga CPQ Business Analyst or Functional Consultant (if applicable).
- Exposure to Salesforce ecosystem and its integration with Conga CPQ.
- Familiarity with REST/SOAP APIs and data integration practices between CPQ and ERP platforms.
- Understanding of revenue recognition, pricing compliance, and legal contract workflows
