As a Test Engineer, you will be responsible for testing and validating embedded systems and software within our product, ensuring its reliability, performance, and compliance with industry standards. You will collaborate closely with development teams to identify and resolve issues, contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes, and help deliver high-quality products to our customers.

As a Embedded Software Test Engineer, you will be responsible for:

• Develop and execute detailed test plans and test cases for embedded software and hardware, ensuring thorough coverage of all features and functionality.
• Design, implement, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks to improve testing efficiency and coverage.
• Conduct functional and regression testing to verify software and hardware functionality, ensuring no negative impact from new features or changes.
• Evaluate system performance under various conditions to ensure stability and responsiveness.
• Identify, document, and report software and hardware defects, providing clear and actionable feedback to development teams.
• Collaborate effectively with hardware and software engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date test documentation, including test cases, test plans, and defect reports.

To be successful in this role you will:

• Experience in automation and manual testing of electronics products with embedded firmware.
• Strong experience in manual and automated test cases design, execution, and reporting defects.
• Skilled in Python programming with Object Oriented concepts.
• Strong understanding of testing methodologies: such as functional, performance, and regression testing.
• Experience in electronics product testing using simulators, oscilloscope, multi-meter, function generators etc.
• Experienced in testing of embedded product with communication interface using Modbus / Ethernet / HART / Foundation Fieldbus etc.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills: with the ability to identify and resolve complex issues.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills: with the ability to effectively work with cross-functional teams.
