We are seeking an experienced Technical Lead to drive the development and evolution of our product. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in product development, with a proven track record of building scalable SaaS platforms rather than just delivering client-specific projects in a services organization. This role requires expertise in PHP frameworks (CodeIgniter & Core PHP), React.js, and Next.js, as well as a deep understanding of AWS infrastructure management, database optimization, security best practices, and DevOps principles. Prior experience with LMS platforms, payment gateway integrations, and compliance heavy applications is highly desirable. The Technical Lead will play a key role in shaping the product roadmap, ensuring technical robustness, scalability, and innovation while leading a high performing development team.

Key Responsibilities

• Technical Leadership : Oversee our web applications' architecture, development, and scaling.
• Full-Stack Development : Hands-on experience in CodeIgniter, Core PHP, React.js, and Next.js for both backend and frontend development.
• Version Control & CI/CD : Ensure smooth versioning with GitHub and implement DevOps best practices.
• Database Management : Optimize MySQL databases, ensuring high availability and performance tuning.
• Search & Analytics (Elasticsearch) : Implement Elasticsearch for advanced search capabilities, indexing, and analytics for structured and unstructured data.
• Security & Compliance : Implement web security best practices, including managing Web Application Firewall (WAF), server security, and data encryption.
• AWS Infrastructure Management : Administer EC2 instances, RDS, AWS S3, CloudFront, Load Balancers, and Security Groups.
• Payment Gateway Integration : Implement and maintain payment solutions such as Authorize.Net, PayPal, and Stripe.
• Learning Management System (LMS) : Work on LMS-based solutions, ensuring scalability and seamless user experience.
• Technical Reviews & Quality Assurance : Conduct code reviews, maintain coding standards, and optimize application performance.
• Third-Party Integrations : Work with APIs, Single Sign-On (SSO), and credentialing Skills & Qualifications :
• 6+ years of software development experience, focusing on PHP & modern JavaScript frameworks.
• Proficiency in PHP (CodeIgniter, Core PHP), React.js, Next.js.
• Strong database expertise with MySQL, including query optimization and database structuring.
• Experience with AWS (EC2, RDS, IAM, S3, WAF, Load Balancers, Auto Scaling, CloudWatch, CloudFormation).
• Knowledge of Elasticsearch for indexing, full-text search, analytics, and performance tuning.
• Solid understanding of web application security, including OWASP best practices.
• Version control expertise (GitHub, Bitbucket) and CI/CD implementation.
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and DevOps principles (bonus).
• Hands-on experience in LMS development and maintenance (preferred).
• Strong expertise in payment gateway integration (Stripe, PayPal, Authorize.Net, etc.).
• Understanding of scalability and cloud-native applications.
• Ability to lead and mentor developers, ensuring high coding standards and architectural decisions.
• Prior experience working in healthcare, compliance-driven platforms, or credentialing solutions is a Qualifications :
• Experience working with microservices architecture.
• Hands-on with NoSQL databases (MongoDB, DynamoDB, Redis).
• Knowledge of AI/ML integrations in EdTech (bonus).
