Overview
Required Education And Skills
- 6+ years of experience in full-stack software development of scalable web applications
- Strong experience with MEAN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, Angular, Node.js)
- Solid understanding of JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and RESTful APIs
- Proficiency in backend development using Node.js and Express
- Experience in frontend development using Angular
- Strong understanding of NoSQL databases (MongoDB)
- Experience with version control and CI/CD tools (e.g., Git, GitLab, Jenkins)
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS or Azure) and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
- Knowledge of unit testing frameworks and test automation tools (e.g., Jasmine, Karma, Mocha)
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments
- Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- Self-motivated, eager to learn and share knowledge with team members
- Experience working with remote and distributed :
- Design, develop, test, and deploy high-quality web applications using the MEAN stack
- Participate in the entire application lifecycle, focusing on coding and debugging
- Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Designers, QA, and other developers to deliver quality software
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications and implementation
- Ensure code quality and maintainability by enforcing best practices and writing unit tests
- Perform code reviews and provide feedback to peers
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues as needed
- Stay updated on the latest technologies and trends relevant to MEAN stack development
- Support and mentor junior developers as needed
- Participate in sprint planning, daily standups, and retrospective and Collaboration :
- Act as a technical lead on features or modules, guiding junior developers through design and implementation
- Drive continuous improvement of engineering standards, tooling, and processes
- Ensure alignment with project goals and delivery timelines
- Promote a collaborative team environment and agile Experience :
- Experience integrating third-party APIs and services
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools for deployment and monitoring
- Prior experience in high-availability, scalable, and secure application development
- Knowledge of software architecture patterns and system design
- Experience in the Oil & Gas industry is a plus, but not required
