Job Summary
Lead and manage a high-performing software engineering team to design, develop, and deliver high-quality Android-based software products. The role requires strong technical expertise, people leadership, and ownership of delivery for customer-facing platforms.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead and manage an Android software engineering team
• Own end-to-end delivery of software for major customer programs
• Drive architectural decisions related to performance, media, graphics, memory, and UX
• Ensure high-quality releases through unit testing, automation, and stability testing
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, QA, and leadership
• Hire, mentor, and develop engineering talent
• Manage project planning, execution, and budget forecasting
Required Skills & Experience
• Strong expertise in Android development (Java/Kotlin)
• Experience with media frameworks such as ExoPlayer or custom media players is preferred.
• Solid knowledge of UI frameworks, graphics, and animations
• Hands-on experience in system-level debugging (ADB, logs, memory analysis)
• Experience delivering complex, customer-facing Android products
• Strong understanding of Agile, CI/CD, DevOps, and automated testing
