Finance Data Analyst

Job Summary

As a highly motivated and detail-oriented team member, the successful candidate will utilize their knowledge in creating dashboards to provide analytical support directly to ATS’ Corporate Finance department. This role will focus on the creation and maintenance of data visualizations within Tableau, OneStream, and other tools.

The Data Analyst will identify continuous improvement opportunities to simplify and make improvements from a dashboarding and analytics perspective to drive positive change within Corporate and across the organization

Responsibilities

Data Analytics & Dashboard Development

• Develop dashboards and data visualization models using OneStream, Tableau, and other tools.
• Integrate multiple data sources (actuals, forecasts, plans).
• Work with finance and IT teams to define technical specifications and project plans.

Operational Support

• Maintain business models, KPIs, and benchmarks.
• Develop project plans, dashboards, and reports for Corporate and divisional teams.
• Analyze variances between actual, forecast, and planned results.
• Support data integration of finance applications.

Financial Reporting & Accounting

• Partner with Global Finance, Business Analysts, and Systems Analysts.
• Prepare quarter-end and year-end audit papers.
• Provide commentary on financial variances for monthly and quarterly reporting.

Internal Controls & Compliance

• Ensure SOX compliance by documenting changes.
• Maintain confidentiality of financial data.
• Ensure financial policies and reporting standards are consistently applied.

Desired Skills

• Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, OneStream, or similar
• Strong understanding of financial systems and accounting principles
• Ability to work with large datasets and derive insights from complex data structures
• Strong desire to learn new industries and technologies

Qualification & Experience

• University degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline

• Relevant certifications (e.g., CFA, CPA) or proven experience in financial analytics

• Looking for candidates with 3 to 5 yrs of experience.
