We are seeking a skilled Java Developer with hands-on experience in API integration to join
our insurance technology team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing,
developing, and integrating APIs and backend services that connect various systems within
the insurance ecosystem, including policy administration, underwriting, claims, and thirdparty
services.

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Java Developer with hands-on experience in API integration to join
our insurance technology team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing,
developing, and integrating APIs and backend services that connect various systems within
the insurance ecosystem, including policy administration, underwriting, claims, and thirdparty
services.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and integrate RESTful and SOAP APIs for internal and external systems.
- Collaborate with business analysts and system architects to design API-based solutions.
- Integrate third-party services such as payment gateways, data enrichment providers, or
- Ensure security, performance, and scalability of API interfaces.
- Work with insurance platforms (e.g., Guidewire, Duck Creek, or custom policy/claims
- Maintain and optimize Java-based microservices for high availability.
- Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and deployments.
- Document API specifications (Swagger/OpenAPI) and integration workflows.
- Strong proficiency in Java (Java 8 or higher).
- Experience with Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, and RESTful/SOAP APIs.
- Solid understanding of API security standards (OAuth2, JWT, etc.).
- Familiarity with insurance processes such as policy management, claims, underwriting,
- Experience with API gateways (e.g., Apigee, Kong, AWS API Gateway).
- Knowledge of integration patterns, message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ), and data
- Experience working with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and Agile methodologies.
