Key Responsibilities
- Lead a team of API automation testers to ensure the quality of API services and backend systems.
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for API testing using tools such as Postman, RestAssured, or similar tools.
- Perform thorough testing of RESTful APIs and web services to ensure functional, regression, and load testing is covered.
- Create and maintain automated test cases for all levels of API testing, including unit, integration, and system tests.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in software testing, with at least 2+ years focused on API automation.
- Strong experience with API testing tools such as RestAssured
- Experience with programming languages such as Java for test automation.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and test automation integration.
- Strong understanding of RESTful web services, HTTP methods, request/response formats (JSON, XML).
- Knowledge of test management tools such as JIRA, TestRail, or similar.
